Goodbye Harry

It is with great sadness that we learned of the death of Mr. Harry Leighton.

Harry gave over 40 years of unbroken service to the members of East Wall Credit Union and remained committed to performing his volunteer work even in the face of his failing health. Everyone who knew and worked with Harry held him in high esteem and had great affection for him.

We extend out condolences to his family and to all who knew him.

Remembering Richard Sheridan

The Board of Directors of the Credit Union is sad to report the passing of Mr. Richard Sheridan following a short illness.

Richard was a serving member of the current board, his last attendance being at the monthly meeting held on May 16^th last.

Richard was first elected to the board in 1974 and throughout the years provided a service to the members of East Wall Credit Union in a variety of positions - vice-chairperson, director, supervisor and credit committee chairman.

He was also involved for many years with Cadburys Credit Union – CoCo.

His loss is keenly felt by everyone who worked with him.

We offer our sincere condolences to his wife Lena and to his family.

Remembering Rita Dorman

It was with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Mrs. Rita Dorman.

Rita gave many years of voluntary service in her role of a supervisor following in the footsteps of her late husband Paddy.

Despite being unwell in recent times, Rita continued to perform her duties.

On behalf of the members we say many thanks to Rita for her service to the community and offer our condolences to her family.

Remembering Monica Ryan

Last February saw the passing of Mrs. Monica (Mona) Ryan.

She was a founder member of the East Wall Credit Union and served in a variety of official capacities from 1968 until her “retirement” just before her 93^rd birthday.

In 2005, her contribution to East Wall Credit Union was acknowledged by the Irish League of Credit Unions with a special presentation and she appeared on the front cover of their offical magazine.

Mrs. Ryan was an extraordinary person and it was a great privilege for everyone associated with the credit union to know her and to work with her. On behalf of all members of the East Wall Credit Union past and present we offer our condolences to her extended family.

EXAMPLE

Your teller receipt shows you number as 001000.

During registration please enter this number as four digits - 1000.
